ANNOTATION
The country I represent is Kyrgyzstan, a small nation in Central Asia. For almost 70 years it was under the control of the Communist regime as a part of the former Soviet Union. In 1991, it gained its independence when the USSR collapsed. Kyrgyzstan then joined the world as a newly independent country, which has been trying to establish its own stable political and economic system. As a result of having been isolated behind the iron curtain for many years, Kyrgyzstan is not well known, but is now ready to share its unique culture with the world. Kyrgyz culture is one of the ancient cultures in Central Asia. It is also considered to be one of the richest sources of the world's cultural treasury. Osh city will soon celebrate its 3000th anniversary, making it older than Rome. Kyrgyzstan is a land of majestic snowy peaks, boundless valleys, turbulent rivers, glittering waterfalls, enchantingly beautiful blue lakes, wild somber forests, and mountain meadows that are a myriad of color when the tulips are in bloom. It is called the Switzerland of Asia. Kyrgyzstan has so many things to offer for people to learn, to see, to enjoy. It is a new world which I invite you to discover.Copyright © Mamasadyk Bagyshov
